An-Najah National University cordially invites you to attend:
The First Winter School of High Energy Physics in Palestine (WISHEPP)
which will be held for the first time in Palestine on November 11th-17th, 2016.
The event will include scientific and entertaining activities on sciences and physics targeting An-Najah and high school students, parents, Publics, national institutions and NGOs and any student from all other Palestinian universities.
The event will include:
- Lectures moderated by expert professors in different areas of physics especially Gravitational waves, high energy physics, instrumentation and technology, and accelerator physics that targets the Physics Department students and others of the university’s scientific faculties (The lectures will be held over one week from 8:00 am-12:30 pm).
- A plenary talks on the latest scientific discoveries on different scientific topics for the students and professors and any person who is interested in such topics. (The seminar will be held over a week during the break hour).
- Seminars on physics and natural sciences for high school students’ that aim at developing their competencies (The seminars will be over a week from 2-4 pm).
- An evening cultural festival that targets students’ parents and the whole society and participating national institutions and NGOs (The festival will include scientific and cultural activities on different topics in physics).
