Students in this course, are introduced to fundamental concepts of thermodynamics, equation of state of gas, expansivity and compressibility, the first law of thermodynamics, entropy and second law of thermodynamics, properties of gases, thermodynamics potential, kinetic theory, intermolecular forces and statistical thermodynamics.
