Abstract
The use of medicinal herbs in the treatment of various diseases around the world due to several reasons, the most important one is that the prevailing belief that herbs used in the treatment are safer than manufactured drugs, so the world has witnessed a growing interest in medicinal herbs . Palestine which have fertile land and good climate for the growth of herbs, is unique and special in the use of herbs in the various medical treatment. Out of the use of medicinal plants in the treatment of various diseases in humans, out of experience arising from the accumulation of many years of experience among farmers has been the use of medicinal plants in the treatment of animals and is due to several reasons, notably a belief in humans that the herbs used in the treatment of diseases, safer than manufactured drugs as mentioned earlier, and also to lack of awareness of the existence of the veterinarians was missing from what people have sufficient science to understand and study, as we are far from total reliance on veterinary treatments. According to the study of herbs used medical treatment in animals has focused on the study is also examining these herbs to preserve them from extinction and to study the growth and the presence of places and provide the proper environment for preservation of natural psychotropic such as overgrazing. The aim of this study is certain areas and focused on some basic factors, the study has focused on the village more than the city, because the village depends on farming and animal husbanding . As for the target group has been focusing on the age group 40 years of age and older (ie, before their presence in the study area more than 30 years), and also included the people who have extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs is with the help of the heads of local councils Rural Affairs. May be in some cases resorting to the veterinarians who are known for their use of medicinal herbs in their recipes therapeutic.
