Abstract
The present study aimed to clear the medicinal plants in Qalqilya in the north of Palestine and assess the current situation of Medicine of the Palestinian Arab traditional in this region and specifically the study of plants currently used in animal health care, questionnaires were used specially prepared for this purpose and the number of participants 20 people from the general public, and the number of plants used in animal health care in this region, 32 different plant and used for cases of different diseases. The study showed that the papers were more plant parts used and followed by the use of seeds and fruits when it was ranked third.
The majority of prescriptions intended to treat health problems related to the digestive system, followed by problems related to the reproductive system and is followed by recipes to deal with skin diseases.
We believe that the region is rich in medicinal plants and require further prospective studies can help to preserve this wealth of plant and knowledge related to these plants.
