Abstract
This study was to determine the prevalence rate of Herpes simplex virus type 1 in An -Najah university.
HSV1 causes vascular lesions of the oral mucosa can also cause clinical disease including the genitalia,liver,lung,eye and central nervous system which may be severe particularly in the setting of immunosuppression.
Eighty samples were collected and analyzed using HSV1 ELISA kit.
The analysis was carried out according to manufacture instruction and the results read at 450nm.The male were 40 with 10% anti HSV1 positive and female were the same.
