The University Participates in the Third Originality and Creativity Exhibition in Nablus

On April 29th 2010, the University participated in the Third Originality and Creativity Exhibition in Nablus which was organized by Nablus Municipality at its Cultural Center. The exhibition was inaugurated under the auspices of his Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad.

 

Nablus Governor, Colonel Jibrin Al-Bakri, University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Mayor of Nablus, Engineer Adly Yaish, as well as officials and managers of a number of local institutions and companies attended the event.

 

In addition to the University, a number of companies and institutions in Nablus participated in the exhibition in which each company presented its products and demonstrated its achievements. The participants expressed their admiration of the University's corner which included graduation projects of engineering students, educational sciences students, as well as science and pharmacy students. The exhibition also displayed works of art prepared by students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University.

 

Dr. Mohamad Hanoon, Vice President for Community Affairs, said that the University participated in the exhibition for the purpose of demonstrating the students' talents and creative works, whether in science, education or art. This is the third participation of the University in this exhibition which continues over the week.
