On Wednesday, April 15, 2015, the Faculty of Science at An-Najah was awarded An-Najah's annual scientific research award. This award is bestowed annually to encourage scientific research at the different faculties in the university.
Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah commended the faculty's staff and administration for their consistent efforts in the field of research. He also emphasized the importance of passing on the researchers’ expertise and knowledge to the faculty's students.
Dr. Waleed Sweileh, Dean of Scientific Research at An-Najah, stated that the faculty of Science has published 40 research papers in the Thomson Reuters' Magazine, 23 at Sopex and 29 at unclassified periodicals, as well as 24 participations in international conferences.

- An-Najah's scientific research award is based on a number of standards namely, the published researches, patents, participations at local and/or international conferences, local and international awards, published books, funded researches and projects and the successful conferences held by the faculty.
